New products from NFF displayed at Highpoint!

We just got back from the Highpoint show in North Carolina and wanted to share with you a few pictures from this great furniture venue. The first few pictures are from our spaces at Highpoint (4 pictures in total). We had two locations which were: Suites At Market Square, EcoStyle Pavilion on Floor 1, Space #748 as well as IHFC, Pavilions on Main Three, Floor 3, Space #M314. The other image is a snapshot from the Hacienda Hotel’s Lobby located in El Segundo, California which showcased many of our products such as, our spectacular twist stools, oval drum, mango twist vases, cigar vases and teak slat C tables. They did a wonderful job with showing our merchandise in a beautiful and relaxing manner!

We also have a lot of great new products coming out! The buyers who were at Highpoint were lucky in that they were the first to see these items being displayed. * I will make notes at the end of each image and point out a few of our latest products.

Highpoint:

* Angel Trumpet Chandelier, Large Pillinut Torch which is near the Small Leaf Light as well as the Sultan Table Lamp (to the right by most of our Teak Products) along with our Lotus Panels, Vine twists, C-Slate Tables, Blocky Stools and much more.

* This image showcases our new Barstools, Tables, Venus Hanging Lamp next to the Fishtail Torch and the Double Leaf Standing which is right next to our Orange Carved Puff Fish.

* Here in the center is a Ceremonial Lamp next to the I/O Rattan Lazy Chair, along with the Venus Lamps, Chandelier Trumpet Lamps, Octagon Mirror towards the back, the Nautalis (sea shell lamp), Dome light which is next to the Garden/Beach Wood Chair & Table with Carrying Bag.

* Here is a more direct shot of the Garden/Beach Wood Chair & Table with Carrying Bag, along with the large Pillinut Torch and Dome light.

Hacienda Hotel:

* The Hacienda hotel (as stated before) did a wonderful job of incorporating our products into their lobby for a seamless fit against the other decor. The items they used were our Twist Stools, Oval Drum, Mango Twist Vases, Cigar Vases and our Teak Slat C Tables which are made out of Teak wood.

Natural Fine Furnishings continues it's journey, to be a more "green" Establishment...

We are always looking for ways to help out the Earth in any way we can. In this blog I will mention a few customs that we at Natural Fine Furnishings perform to improve the Environment’s wellbeing.

For starters, we only use the branches off of the trees we get from Thailand i.e. Monkey Pod (which is one of the main woods used in our hand carved sustainable furniture and décor items); this allows the trees to not be cut down-- which helps prevent deforestation. We also use a solar oven to help take out some of the moisture in our wood. This is a great thing to do because we are using the earth’s sun (solar energy), which in turn, is producing less air pollution. Along with those processes, we do not use any chemicals. We also use recycled newspaper and boxes to help package our shipments from Thailand to us.

Now, that you’ve heard a little bit about what we do on the manufacturing side of our business, let’s move on to a few things we do here in the office-- We do our best to make sure to use printing companies that produce our brochures and business cards on recycled paper. We also have a bin for non-recyclable plastic bottles and of course ones for recyclables. We re-use paper and write on the blank side. Also, if a fax comes in and we do not need it, we will tear it into four squares and use it for scrap paper. In addition we try not to print e-mails, documents and the like out unless we absolutely need to. I have also listed down below some other ways you, as well as Natural Fine Furnishings and other business can incorporate.

A few simple changes can help make your corporation/place of employment, home and earth a healthier place to be. Here are a few things you can do to make a difference daily:
· Turn off lights when not in use. If you have large windows try to use as much of the earth’s natural light as you can before it starts to get dark
· Use ceramic mugs or reusable dining utensils (instead of plastic or Styrofoam)
· Use organic cleaning supplies i.e. vinegar to help prevent mold and bacteria from forming (it has MANY uses)
· Try to buy in bulk which should lead to less wasted wrappings (due to a large amount being wrapped together instead of all individually wrapped items).
· Recycle or donate used ink cartridges, cell phones, plastic bottles and other unwanted material

To find out more ways on how to stay green there is a vast number of Websites you can visit; here are a few to get you started:
